Joan Szarowicz Memorial Scholarship

We are now accepting applications for the 2024 Joan Szarowicz Memorial Scholarship awarded annually to one graduating high school senior.

Prize: $2,000

Eligibility:

• A good standing member of AAC Credit Union for at least 6 months prior to your application date.
• Graduating from senior year of high school in 2024.
• Planning to enroll or already enrolled as a full time student for the summer/fall 2024 semester at an eligible institution.

Complete the entry form below (or click here).  Upload your most current transcript and a 300-400 word essay.  Essay topic: The Future of Banking: We want to grow with our college members.  Please tell us how AAC can better serve you and your changing needs.  Which financial services will be important to you as you leave for college?  Do you have ideas how AAC can use technology to better serve college students?

Application deadline is May 1st at 5pm

Family of AAC staff and board are not eligible. Scholarship winner is determined by the most creative essay.  Financial scholarship is worth $2,000 and made payable to the institution where the student is enrolled.  Applications will not be accepted after deadline. Selection process will be completed by May 31, 2024.  Winner will be notified by telephone thereafter.
